Reward specialist
Compensation & Rewards Specialist - £400 per day inside IR35

Department: HR / Reward
Location: South Coast & London
Hybrid working - 6-8 days per month in the office onsite
Responsibilities
· Management of the day to day reward activity, reporting to Reward Consultant.
· Management of the employee benefits portal.
· Dealing with any reward queries, working closely with People Business Partners to resolve any queries arising in relation to reward.
· Provide expert advice to both People Business Partners and managers
· Assist Reward Consultant with coordination and management of this year's pay remit process.
· Management of all reward data, spreadsheets etc and main point of contact for the provision of reward information to third party reward partners.
· Conduct job evaluations using HAY methodology and manage the job evaluation grading system.
· Maintenance of all reward records and data.
· Participation in salary surveys and undertake reward benchmarking as required.
· Contribute to reward communications.
· Deliver training on reward as and when required (eg Equal pay Awareness sessions).
· Assist colleagues in our EDI team with the production of gender/ethnicity pay gap reporting.
· Provide reports and reward MI as directed.
Key Requirements of jobholder
· Attention to detail, confident with Excel, highly numerate.
· Experience in public sector and sound understanding of public sector pay arrangements desirable.
· HAY trained (desirable), sound knowledge of job evaluation principles.
· Experience working with unions desirable.
· Solid experience and knowledge of all aspect of reward policies and processes.
· Team player - experience working within a corporate People team desirable.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
