Duration: 6 months initially

The role:

Reporting to the Operational Finance Lead, the Purchase to Pay Specialist is responsible for supporting the PTP team to deliver outstanding Purchase to Pay processing activities to suppliers and to the business. They will be responsible for ongoing collaboration with key business stakeholders and ongoing support to the Purchase to Pay team, to ensure controls are operated accurately.

Responsibilities:

·  Support a highly motivated, customer-focused, and business-facing team, instilling a culture that drives value through staff engagement to successfully meet/exceed all relevant targets and strategic objectives within the business.​

·  Provide support of Accounts Payable services within the Purchase to Pay end-to-end business process, to our internal customers and external suppliers.

·  Work collaboratively with key Procurement, Finance, Digital, Data & Technology (DD&T) and Treasury stakeholders across the business to develop and maintain the effectiveness of the Purchase to Pay end-to-end process.

·  Actively build and maintain appropriate relationships with suppliers, senior managers, peer groups, and third parties toprotect compliance, reputation, and commercial position. ​

·  Problem solving for issues relating to Purchase to Pay transactions, including requisitions, purchase orders and payment requests, ensuring issues are resolved in a timely fashion and to the satisfaction of the relevant stakeholders.

Requirements:

·  Extensive experience in Purchase to Pay within regulated businesses including developing policies, requisition management and data processes.​

·  Extensive experience of using Purchase to Paymodules in SAP S/4 HANA and Coupa​.

·  Track record of delivering performance efficiency and operational excellence.

·  Good understanding of governance, risk & internal control frameworks.

·  Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills.

·  Strong customer service orientation and an ability to instil the same in others.

·  Some understanding of spot buying would be beneficial.
