Our established client is looking to recruit a Project Engineer to work with there expanding team & specialise in the design, manufacture and commission of a diverse range of plant and equipment to various customers in the automotive & aerospace industry

Duties Include but are not limited to:
*Account management
*Develop & maintain clients throughout the UK
*Liaising with plant managers & engineers via the telephone
*Offering technical advise to clients whilst supporting the clients requirements
*Providing quotations
*Chasing outstanding quotations/estimates with clients
*Working with technical & detailed drawings
*Handling inbound calls into the business
*Outbound calling to clients

Skills/Experience Required:
*Able to offer excellent customer service with excellent account management skills
*Ideally you will have project engineering background with the ability to discuss technical sales enquiries to customer's plant manager/ engineer
*Must hold a full UK driving licence as site visits may be required
*Background from a technical/ engineering background, ability to read drawing to assess customer's requirements, produce estimates/ quotes, procurement and visit customer sites would be an advantage
*Able to understand the customers requirements
*Be able to read technical/detailed drawings send into the business by the client
*Liaising with plant managers or engineers would be an advantage but not essential
*An understanding within the plant/equipment, aerospace, automotive, coaters/finishers industry would be an advantage but not essential
*Must be PC literate with using Microsoft packages
*Knowledge of using AutoCAD would be an advantage but not essential for this role as full training will be given
*Must be able to work as part of a team within a small office environment & be driven/positive attitude

The above role is based on a permanent full time basis with an ASAP start. Hours of work are Monday - Thursday 8:30AM - 5:00PM & Fridays 8:30AM - 4:00PM.
