Production Supervisor
(Plastic Manufacturing/Mould Making)
£34,320 per Annum
Are you looking for a permanent position in one of the fastest growing Manufacturing companies in the UK? We are seeking an individual that can respond to rapid change whilst working in a fast paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience of people management, be able to solve problems whilst maintaining a clear focus on company values.
You will be based on site at the worlds fastest source for custom prototype and low- to mid - volume parts. The speed and versatility allows you manage your team into taking parts from the early stages of prototyping all the way up to production of 10,000+ parts.
As production supervisor you will:
· Be responsible for the management of daily activities of your manufacturing shift
· Provide direction and support to your team members
· Ensure production schedule targets are matched by production output
· Manage team performance and engage in tasks such as recruitment
· Be responsible for development, recognition, time management and corrective action.
· Abide by lean manufacturing and 5s and implement continuous improvement
· Ideally have manufacturing supervision/management experience with excellent communication skills
· Hold one to one meetings, annual appraisals and create value within your team
· Be driven by goals and create morale within your team in order to maximise potential
We currently have a night shift available for this role:
· Night shifts - Sunday 9.30pm to 6am and Monday to Thursday 10pm to 6am
The ideal candidate will be capable of working in a fast paced environment. You will have the initiative to approach challenges with enthusiasm and the ability to react to rapid changes in prioritisation whilst maintaining a clear focus on the company objectives. Exceptional people management, communication and problems solving skills are essential.
