Job title: Production Assistant-Temp to Perm
Salary: Competitive
Hours: 8:30am - 5:30pm
Location: Poole, Dorset

To assist the Production Director in their duties by developing / updating relevant documentation and distribute throughout the Production chain accordingly.
Controlling the costs of contracts, quantifying the materials, labour, and equipment needed to complete the project.

Main Responsibilities:
*Creation and distribution of Works Schedules / Production Programmes and other relevant documentation appertaining to production scheduling, from information provided by the Production Director.
*Update the above documentation following weekly Production Meetings / receipt of revised schedules from Production Managers.
*Create and maintain Finishes Schedules for each project. Generate and release Sample Request Forms and subsequently track samples throughout the Production Process. Once dispatched, seek swift approval and update the relevant documentation accordingly, noting approval or requesting additional samples if approval has not been granted.
*Filing of Production copies and 3rd party drawings into relevant folders.
*Uploading of drawings onto various Project Document Control websites as required.
*Maintain and develop standard finishing documentation for inputting onto relevant sample documentation.
*Liaise with departments to clarify processes involved in achieving desired samples and note
*Track / chase critical procured items to ensure that items delivery dates are on track to suit production team requirements.
*Attend meetings and take minutes and type up / distribute accordingly. Chase action points to ensure that they are fulfilled and update line manager accordingly.

*Be aware of the purpose of the H&S Management System and the subsequent procedures introduced and their effect on the management of any Contract.
*Co-operate with H&S Committee on all aspects of health and safety and assist in assessing workplace risks
*Follow all policy, procedures, rules, safe working methods etc. at all times
*Undertake any training as is necessary to ensure you remain competent to carry out your allocated tasks.
*Report any incident, accident, dangerous occurrence and/or property damage to your line manager
