Responsible to: Shift Manager

The role:

� Checking and weighing raw materials

� Ensuring that machine settings are correct including blancher temperatures/times,

freezer/water temperatures

� Completing simple machine maintenance

� Maintaining a clean production environment

� Running quality checks including chlorine levels,

� Complete Hygiene procedures

� Sortex Operating

� Responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of the lines are as required

� Any other adhoc duties as required

Job Related Experience/Skills

Essential:

� Relevant experience of working within a food processing/manufacturing environment � Good general level of education, including Maths and English � Good knowledge of Health & Safety � Basic Food Hygiene � Proficient in the use of computers � FLT Licence

Desirable:

� Level 2 Food Hygiene � MHE trained � Chemical awareness/ handling trained

� Good communication skills � Good organisational skills � Analytical and problem solving skills � Able to accurately follow documented procedures � Excellent attention to detail � Able to work autonomously and within a team environment � Able to remain calm under pressure � Able to multi-task � Team player
