PLANT OPERATOR - RUNCORN - PERMANENT POSITION

We are currently recruiting for a plant operator to join a large successful company in Runcorn.

Ideally you will have had previous experience in a mineral processing plant and have experience of driving mobile plant equipment, Front Loader licence is a distinct advantage.

After training you will be expected to work safely driving a front end loading vehicle, monitoring plant machinery, taking and testing process samples, general housekeeping and various other operational duties given by supervising staff.

Hours of work will be from 08:00hrs to 4:30hrs Mon to Fri, but weekend over time working may be required periodically.

Essential and desirable criteria

Applicants must be self-motivated and be able to work in a safe manner in all aspects of the role, they must also be flexible in their working time as they may be asked to work as shift cover and a certain amount of overtime.

The successful applicant will be required to drive mobile plant, previous experience will be an advantage however full training will be given to obtain a current license.

Salary is £25,399, plus overtime & shift disturbance allowance if asked to carry out shift cover.
