Our client based in Lincoln has an exciting opportunity for an Operational Buyer to join their new team based in Lincoln.

The role will involve:
* Completing purchase orders
* Dealing with invoice queries and any other queries relating to purchase orders
* The role will also categorise as a support for the rest of the team, for any administrative tasks that may need completing, or fulfilling tasks in a team members absence.
* To start with you will only be responsible for one supplier, but more will be allocated as the role progresses.
* You will be expected to visit suppliers to discuss points around on time delivery performance, and anything related to improving/maintaining that performance.
* Pricing negotiations will not be a feature of the role, due to the nature of the commodity that is to be involved with. All pricing negotiations are ran through strategic purchasing, which you will be expected to work closely with.

As this is to join a new team and as the role evolves regularly, all members have an opportunity to get involved with an array of projects at their will.

To be considered for this role you will ideally have a background using SAP and
Supply Chain/Purchasing background is essential.
