Adecco have a fantastic opportunity to join a company based in Hungerford. Our client is looking for a Production Planner to be responsible for defined production areas and develop weekly production schedules according to business demand and safety stock rules. The role is working Monday to Friday offering a salary between £35,000 - £40,000, dependant on experience.

Duties and responsibilities include:

·  Create weekly production plan for designated manufacturing areas

·  Utilize the production capacity as efficiently as possible by making smart subcontracting decisions to cope with demand peaks, taking into consideration the current order book, sales forecast and historical sales.

·  Maintain minimum safety stock inventory levels to ensure parts availability at all times for final assembly areas.

·  Support other production areas with computational tasks and operational analysis to help them understand weaknesses and opportunities.

·  Calculate overall safety stock values and lot sizes in alignment with company policies

·  Successfully complete various planning related training programs and intracompany knowledge transfer

Candidates will ideally have/be:

·  Strong problem solving and analysis skills

·  Ability to manage complexity and resolve conflicts that arise from balancing multiple priorities

·  Proficient in MS office applications.
