Marketing Assistant

Hours of work: Full time, Monday to Friday 9:00 - 17:00 hours Fixed Term Contract - 12 months

We have an excellent opportunity to work for an established company based in Corby. They are looking for a creative and passionate Marketing Assistant to support the Marketing Manager. Driving production of marketing materials, retail solutions and visual merchandising guidelines. Providing support to the in the organisation of UK and International trade shows

Your main duties will included:
*Managing the production of marketing materials, including leaflets, posters, flyers, newsletters, e-newsletters and POS materials
*Creating graphic content and imagery in liaison with designers and external printers
*To assist with the co-ordination of UK and International Trade Shows.
*Create visual merchandising packs to communicate visual guidelines, layout principles, visual dressing and signage
*Produce planograms/VM guidelines for showroom, exhibition stands and retail stores
*Create POS package/materials for all our brands
*Introduction and review of Retail Solutions/Stands for both UK and international customers/stores
*Introduction/co-ordination of customer loyalty programs/promotional programs
*Liaise with and place adverts in trade press magazines.
*Market research and reporting

You will have the below skills/experience:

*Educated to degree level or (equivalent through relevant experience) - Marketing degree would be advantageous, with previous experience in a marketing role.
*Ability to speak a 2nd language is desirable (especially German)
*Proven ability to multi-task and work to tight deadlines
*Well organised and self-motivated along with a structured approach to assigned tasks
*A passionate self-starter with a positive attitude and conscientious team player
*Proficient in using In-design, Illustrator, Photoshop, Microsoft office applications (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
*Excellent spelling and grammar awareness and the ability to communicate effectively
*A practical marketer who enjoys working within a fast paced, business orientated environment
*An innovative and creative approach
*Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with both internal stake holders and external agencies
*Reactive and flexible with an ability to work to strict deadlines
*High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
