I am pleased to be working with a leading laser cutting company based in the Rotherham area. They require an experienced laser cutting machine operator.

key skills required;
Be able to set and operate a high specification laser cutting machine in a sub contract environment.

Be able to organise and complete internal paperwork.

Be able to use machine based software as required to support the CAD programming and therefore laser productivity.

To either be able to operate or be willing to train in operating a modern CNC pressbrake machine.

Our client is looking for an individual who shows high levels of safety and productivity at all times, whilst maintaining maximum efficiency and high quality work.

Duties would include;
Keeping the production area clean, safe and tidy at all times.
Assisting with stock control materials and consumables.
Achieving the agreed quality and dispatch date of customer orders.
Managing shop floor materials and stock levels both for full sheets and off cut remnants.

Key responsibilities.
Exercise reasonable care and skill in performance of duties.
To assist the company with the implementation of manufacturing strategies.
Efficiently help reach the companies sales and profitability within the available resource.
To ensure all equipment is maintained to a high standard.

Our client is willing to offer an hourly wage of £12-£14 depending on experience.

Hours of working are 0800-1700 Mon-Thurs
0700-1600 on a Friday
