Inventory Control Analyst

The Role

This position has primary responsibilities for training all material handlers. Conducts cycle counts to identify and correct any issues related to inventory accuracy and material transactions. Reviews material usages and assures that materials are accurately issued to jobs. Reviews batch/lot information and ensures that lot movements are correct in the inventory management system.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Train all material handlers and people doing inventory movements in the ERP system
Write work instructions for controlling all inventory transactions
Manage all aspects of Stock management and Administration
Develop, implement, and monitor all key functions related to inventory transactions to assure that they are accurate and timely.
Conduct inventory cycle counts in a perpetual inventory environment.
Coordinate the cycle count progress and results to identify necessary recounts and processes to be monitored and provide regular reports on the results.
Perform thorough research and document inventory discrepancies using all available resources to identify root causes and supply possible solutions.
Will monitor warehouse transfers for accuracy as directed by the Supply Chain group.
Build and maintain relationships with supply chain and cross-functional partners to develop strategies that allow the company to meet customer service and inventory performance targets.

Exceptional time management, communication and numeracy skills and attention to detail are a must and you must be computer literate.
