Inbound Claims Advisor

Adecco are currently recruiting for an exciting new opportunity with our leading client.

Our client is a nationwide 24 hour home emergency specialists. Who provide solutions for house builders, housing associations and insurance companies from their busy customer service centre in Oldbury.

They are currently recruiting for an Inbound Customer Claim Advisor to take calls from Home Emergency Insurance customers. This full time permanent opportunity will offer the ideal candidate room to progress and build a career within a fast expanding company.

Location - Oldbury

Type of contract - permanent

Salary - £18,500 per annum

Hours - Our Home Emergency Insurance Team are on hand to support our customers from 8am to 10pm Monday to Sunday. You will be required to work a variety of shifts across a 7 week rota including weekends

In your role as an Inbound Claims Advisor you'll have the autonomy to support our customers through the journey of their claim, right from the first notification through to resolution. You'll be responsible for validating the policy holder, diagnosing the issue and deploying the correct trade, keeping the customer informed every step of the way. Other responsibilities include; taking excess payments, arranging boiler services and negotiating with contractors.

You'll be extremely customer focused, have the ability to think on your feet and be comfortable working to targets and KPI's in a friendly environment.

Essential:

Previous Financial Services experience, ideally within an FCA regulated insurance contact centre environment would be desirable but not essential, have no unspent convictions and be able to provide references.
