Duties and responsibilities

·  Ensure all jobs are planned and completed on time in accordance with service level agreements/KPIs.

·  Use PC based reporting / delivery tools and satnav equipment.

·  Flexible approach to workload as circumstances alter.

·  Problem-solve and work without close supervision.

·  Install and set up equipment in people's homes.

·  Assess the best / safest route when installing Oxygen tubing and associated equipment.

·  Correct use of provided manual handling equipment and tools to install and remove equipment.

·  Maintain the reputation of company with Patients, Healthcare Professionals and the Public.

Financial

·  Good geographical knowledge of region with an aim to reduce carbon footprint / reduce fuel costs.

·  Utilise route selection principles to ensure workload completed within most time-efficient manner.

·  To promote a safe driving culture to actively reduce AIM's (Accidents, Incidents and Near Misses).

·  Participate in continuous improvement by way of suggesting new ideas and opportunities to reduce the overall cost of service provision without compromising quality of service provision.

People

·  Good interpersonal skills.

·  Caring / counselling knowledge and experience.

·  Sensitive to Patients' situation and vulnerability.

·  Maintain good personal presentation / personal hygiene standards.

·  Maintain professional boundaries by not befriending or offending patients / patient family and friends.

Compliance

·  Maintain stringent Group quality standards, including GDP (Good distribution Practices) in line with MHRA licensing requirements when delivering to and removing equipment from patients.

·  Ensure all returned are secured, labelled and accompanied where applicable with a Dangerous goods consignment note to comply ADR regulations (European Agreement concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road).

·  To ensure that the Depot's cleanliness and functionality is in line with MHRA Licensing requirements.

·  To comply with all company KPI's (Key Performance Indicators).

·  To adopt all company SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures).

·  To comply with Dangerous Goods transportation, loading and unloading processes.

·  To have excellent knowledge and experience of load security, segregation and stock rotation.

·  To provide quality of service in accordance with Company Standards.

·  To maintain company vehicles to a high standard and to current legislation regulations to ensure road-worthiness of vehicles.

·  To maintain serviceability of tools / equipment used.

·  Foster and maintain excellent communications with both internal and external customers.

·  To perform risk assessments and train people in the safe and correct use of equipment.
