Cheshire Police are looking to recruit a part-time Helpdesk Officer to work at the Helpdesk based at Risley.

Helpdesk Officers are the first point of contact for the public attending a Police Station and are expected to respond to the public's requests, managing expectations and reassuring them that we are here for them when needed most.

Helpdesk Officers undertake a variety of challenging roles including but not restricted to recording incidents, crime recording, releasing of vehicles seized for no insurance and the registration of sex offenders.

Successful applicants should be able to demonstrate excellent communication and listening skills, have the capability to work both independently and as part of a team and be able to remain calm under pressure in a variety of situations.

Working hours are 1000-1500 Mon-Fri and the majority of this will be lone working.
