Job Title: Field Application Engineer

Location: Chorley

Remuneration: £30K

Contract Details: Permanent, Full Time

Responsibilities:

·  Be the technical expert and "go-to" person for our clients' customers, partners, and sales teams.

·  Provide technical support and training to customers and partners on our products and solutions.

·  Collaborate with the sales team on pre-sales activities such as product information and presentations.

·  Maintain and develop a profitable customer portfolio through appropriate propositions and ethical sales methods.

·  Gain a clear understanding of customers' business requirements.

·  Respond to and follow-up on sales enquiries using appropriate methods.

·  Procure products in accordance with customer requirements and guidelines.

·  Liaise internally to optimise service quality, business growth, and customer satisfaction.

·  Establish rapport with engineers and buyers to promote our franchise offerings.

·  Attend and present at customer meetings, representing the organisation in a professional manner.

·  Assume responsibility for technical sales and support.

·  Identify and qualify new business opportunities.

·  Present and promote the organisation to prospective customers, always representing the organisation professionally.

·  Observe competitor activity and gather intelligence.

·  Liaise with global business units to maximise overall sales opportunities.

·  Understand customer technical roadmaps, technology, and trends to make product solution recommendations.

·  Work jointly with Franchise R&D, Product Engineering, and Operations to resolve technical issues during and after design-in.

·  Attend industry functions when required.
