Adecco in Welwyn Garden City are looking to recruit a proactive individual for an exciting role working with a global client based near St Albans. The client works in a fast growing industry meaning there are strong opportunities for career development.
Hours: 9 - 5pm
Location: Near St Albans
Tasks Include:
- Responsible for the day to day control and operation of all Exporting of goods and Export Compliance matters.
- Administrating all paperwork with respect to goods entering and leaving the warehouse. Maintaining the necessary records relating to all shipments.
- Building and maintaining relationships with couriers to ensure maximisation of quality versus price.
- Completing applications for export licences where required, taking positive actions to monitor and expedite resolution of issues and licence queries.
- Conduct monthly internal audits in relation to all shipments outside of the EU.
- Participate in external training pertaining to the role where necessary to ensure proficiency.
- Providing training internally where necessary to ensure all procedures are being adhered to.
- Creating commercial invoices for shipments outside of the EU.
- Ensuring shipment prices are logged for accounting purposes.
