Adecco Croydon are currently recruiting for Parking Enforcement Officers to work for a nationwide company. This role will be based in the area's of Bromley and Bexley.
The main purpose of this role is to ensure drivers are following parking regulations on public streets and in car parks.
Main duties include;
· You will patrol public streets and local council car parks to make sure that regulations are being followed
· Record and issue Penalty Charge Notices
· Check parking meters and car park equipment and report damage or faults, checking that car parks are clean and tidy
· You will report defective signs and road markings, identifying and reporting any abandoned vehicles
· Explain regulations to motorists and advise them about parking facilities
· You'll check tickets and attend to minor machine faults
· Work alongside police community support officers to Report incidents, crimes or anti-social behaviour
· Attend court or tribunal if a parking ticket is being disputed
· Use equipment such as: Hand-held computers, Two-way radios, mobile phones, cameras to record vehicles that are breaking parking regulations
Salary: £17,901 to £18,785PA
Hours: 42.5 hours per week + (Various shift patterns between 07.00am - 22.30pm)
