Adecco Aviation are very pleased to be supporting this global cargo handler at their largest UK facility at London Heathrow Airport

As a cargo agent, you will be responsible for verifying and keeping records on import and export cargo as well as maintaining all applicable safety and quality standards.

Day to day duties include preparing airline and customs documentation, complying with all relevant policies and procedures, ensuring paperwork is prepared timely and accurately, ensuring proper compliance with local and international laws and regulations, following Dangerous Goods Requirements and Regulations and general office duties as assigned.

You should be passionate about customer service, possess excellent written and verbal English communication skills, be self-motivated and able to work independently when needs be.

In order to fulfil this role, you will need to hold a full UK driving licence, work as part of a team and be able to work on a rostered basis covering a variety of early late, weekend and bank holiday shifts. Previous experience is desired but not essential.

Working in a secure airport operation, you will also have to be able to provide 5 years' written references and support any gaps of 28 days or more, not have lived outside the UK for more than 6 months at a time in the last 5 years, have been resident in the UK for at least 5 years and be happy to undertake a basic disclosure/criminal record check.
