Our client is looking for a Business Development Officer to join the team as an integral role to the business.
You will support development of business opportunities within the business in various industries and should be comfortable talk different decision makers.
You will liaise with people by phone and email.
They are looking for an individual who can deliver excellent customer service, pays attention to detail and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment as part of a team.

An effective communicator with a can do approach, your day to day tasks will also include office administration.

*Has excellent verbal and written communication skills
*Can organise own workload, to meet deadlines
*Has experience of working in a customer facing environment
*Can present as a competent and professional individual
*Has proven experience of producing management information/reports
*Identifying, qualifying, and securing business opportunities
*Building business relationships with current and potential clients
*Collaborating with sales and leadership to secure, retain, and grow accounts
*Developing customized targeted sales strategies
*Coordinating business generation activities
*Answering potential client questions and follow-up call questions
*Creating and maintaining a list/database of prospect clients
*Maintaining short- and long-term business development plans
*Closing sales and working with client through closing process
*Meeting or exceeding annual sales goals.
*Meeting all quotas for cold, active, inactive calls, appointments, and interviews
*Collecting and analysing data to support business activities
*Coordinating and booking attendance and exhibitions at external conferences
