Bid & Development Administrator (Mat Cover)
Location: Waltham Abbey
Salary/Rate: £24,000 - £28,000 (pro-rata)
Type: 6 - 12 month FTC (Mat Cover)

Adecco Harlow are currently recruiting for a Business Development Administrator, initially on a maternity cover fixed term contract, to join our award winning, prestigious client based in Waltham Abbey.

Main purpose of this role:

To help coordinate the distribution of bid correspondence and provide a supporting role in the preparation of qualitative responses to secure new opportunities for the Company in line with the business plan. The successful candidate will ideally have experience dealing with bids & tenders.

Job responsibilities include but not limited to:

·  Manage and monitor OJEU emails/notifications to ensure relevant opportunities are requested in a timely manner

·  Request OJEU notices as directed by Bid Manager

·  Manage portal notifications for added/amended information on PQQs/lTTs

·  Complete PQQ/ITT information sheets for sign off

·  Add new project details to CRM

·  Update CRM with latest status and deadline dates

·  Relevant logging and filing associated with bids in OJEU folder and K8 folder

·  Organise timely delivery of submissions - upload and/or courier

·  Update CRM with regards to successful/unsuccessful PQQs tenders, obtaining feedback where necessary

·  Run monthly leads report from CRM

·  Renew corporate subscriptions/memberships when necessary

·  Update structure charts with new starters

·  Provide timely qualitative answers for PQQs and tenders where required and liaise with pre-construction and regional teams

·  Responsible for downloading documents and clarifications via portal websites as soon as notification received and distribution to bid / project team

·  Update CRM with information from all available sources including CIS sheets

·  Organise reference requests and maintain Reference Information spreadsheet

·  Provide administrative support for the submission of qualitative responses and tenders including issuing of tender documentation

Person Specification: (skills, knowledge and experience required)

·  Positive approach to all tasks set

·  To possess a 'can-do' attitude and have the ability to provide high quality

·  Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·  Computer literate

·  CRM experience would be highly advantageous

·  Undertake other ad hoc duties as and when required
