Your role will involve:
- Supporting your Business Manager with the management of staff.
- Monitor and ensure all sales, profits and service level targets are continuously achieved.
- Take the appropriate action if activity or targets are not being met.
- Oversee the internal sales office on a daily basis.
- Encouraging account management activity of colleagues whilst handling a number of accounts individually.
- Promoting a one team ethos and trading, relevant market-intel or information between colleagues.
- Implementing a strategic business plan for the branch and ensuring this is converted into profitable performance.
- Create and enforce sales and customer service initiatives for your team.
- Regularly review the customer order tracker on a daily basis, and taking action were necessary.
- Manage the operational checklist and complete all follow up actions.
- Deliver people related activities such as personal reviews, operational performance reviews KPI's and team meetings.
- Complete invoice review
- Ensure compliance is met across all administrative processes.
- Continue to review the procedures, operative systems and practices, implementing any changes where necessary.
- Help achieve business goals by training staff, coaching and appraising colleagues.

Previous experience within an electrical wholesale environment is essential, experience working in a B2B or sales position would be beneficial.

This role would suit someone who works to and drives productivity, individually as well as part of a team. If you are someone with proven people management or the desire to develop your current skills into this position. Have a high understanding of the electrical industry particularly the local market and competitors.
