We are pleased to be looking for an experienced Assistant Accountant for a well established company in Perth. This role will involve overseeing all areas of accounting practises for several entities within the business. This role would be great for someone looking to take the next step in their accounting career whether you are a fully qualified or are qualified by experience.

Some of the duties that the successful candidate will be required to undertake are:
*Preparing annual budgets, VAT returns, cash flow forecasts and accompanying monthly reports
*Maintaining journals and charts of accounts
*Weekly and Monthly Payroll, including maintaining all P11d and pension records
*Preparing and submitting all year end report to HMRC
*Processing both sales and purchase invoices, and ensuring all are paid on time
*Conducting regular reconciliations of all accounts to maintain accuracy
*Monitoring all bank deposits and balances, and conducting reconciliations to avoid discrepancies
*Other general office duties as required

The ideal candidate will the following knowledge and experience:
*Processing payroll including auto enrolment, RTI and pensions
*Fully computer literate and have previous knowledge of sage and payroll software
*Excellent numerical, verbal and written communication skills
*Great attention to detail and the ability to problem solve
*Have previous treasury experience
*Approach record keeping and reporting in a methodical and organised manner
*High level of discretion when dealing with confidential information
*Ability to work using own initiative and have a 'can do' attitude
