Our esteeemed client near to Salisbury is seeking am Assembly Technician - for light to medium assembly work. The role is for a person who can work well on their own using their initiative to meet targets on an ongoing project within their small successful company.
The main job is the assembly of hydraulic pumps (hand and foot operated), these are made from a variety of materials, where cleanliness and good manual dexterity is required.
The role also has another key element - stock control, the cell that is being worked in has to be kept stocked with the correct levels of parts. This requires forecasting of stock over a period to ensure production of the units is not compromised.
The ideal candidate will not only be dexterous, ideally with some background in assembly (although not essential as training will be given) but will have to have good common sense, and communication skills in order to ensure the correct level of stock is maintained at all times.
Working in small team and a which leads to a good work environment, the ideal candidate will be a flexible team player and will become a key part of the team.
