Information Security Consultants - IT Management & Technical Consultancy - Surrey & Field Based

We are working with an expanding Management and Technical IT Consultancy based in Surrey who are looking to recruit Information Security Consultants to work on a variety of complex and critical technology projects for Public Sector customers including the MOD, NHS, Fire Service, Police Forces, MOJ and Central Government departments. You will very much be working as a client side advisor.

We are looking for people with a strong mix of Information Security experience primarily covering Security Architecture and Information Assurance. Specific knowledge will cover some of:

- Definition of security requirements: Identify risks from potential solutions (using HMG IS1-2 methods); Review proposed solutions; Develop new architectures; Provide consultancy & advice to customers on Information Assurance.

- Information Assurance - identifying, analysing and evaluating information risks; Business impact analysis; Compliance checking; Supporting the development of Risk Management Accreditation Document Sets (RMADS); Scoping security testing activities & investigating security incidents.

- Familiarity with HMG Security Policy Framework (SPF) and CESG Information Assurance Portfolio, IA Standards, Good Practice Guides, Architecture Patterns, etc.

Generally we need people who come from a Consulting and Client Facing background gained ideally within UK Public Sector or Defence sectors. As you will work closely with the company`s clients, we naturally need people to be effective team players and to have excellent verbal and written communication skills. You will need to be able to pass stringent security clearance as SC clearance is a requirement.
