Residential Support Worker - Children's Home

Kattz Care Services is a company that provide a range of children services. We are currently recruiting for residential support workers within our North London based children's home. The home caters for up to 4 children with diverse range of needs between the ages of 8years and 17years old on placement.

Addison House is a theraputic setting that focuses on understanding and addressing the underlying needs of our young people rather than on their behaviours and difficulties. It aims to create a nuturing home environment for all young people and staffs.

Required for immediate start:

Passionate residential workers to help create and maintain a child- centred therapeutic home. Young people resident are enabled to grow in all areas of their lives, to work towards emotional stability and to develop to their full potential.

a) To ensure that the home's Statement of Purpose is adhered to and that the objectives are met at all times.
b) To embrace the organisation's therapeutic ethos
c) To ensure that the home runs and that staff are operating at all times in line with the policies and procedures of Katzz Care Services.
d) To actively contribute to ensuring that the home meets the Quality Standards and Children’s Homes Regulations 2015.
e) To actively contribute to nurturing a homely, caring therapeutic environment in which children and young people can learn social and interpersonal skills, develop a positive sense of self and build up their self-esteem and confidence.
f) To ensure that the home exemplifies the highest quality of care to young people by actively promoting continual improvements.

g) Be able to work according to a rota to include day and night shifts

Salary - - £17.5K to £22K pa dependent on experience and qualification.

Immediate start available.

This role requires that you undertaken an enhanced disclosure.
