The Program Execution Department, as part of the General Motors Europe (GME) Electric Systems and Infotainment Organization, is responsible for program management and execution of all GME vehicle projects. The department acts as an interface between the platform organization, engineering and manufacturing (including pre-production operations). This includes Vehicle Systems Engineering tasks such as architecture and software feature roll out planning,release management and quality verification, issue resolution during development vehicle builds as well as vehicle launch support in the plants. Against this background, the GME organization gathers additional vehicle Cyber Security expertise as far as software security mechanisms on vehicle architectures become more and more important due to modern vehicle's internet connectivity capabilities.
Your tasks:
- Lead and coordinate all GME Cyber Security core activities, act in his role as main interface to the Global Cyber Security Team, located at General Motors North America
- Operate as Technical Expert on Cyber Security, working on specifications, defining the business requirements and processes to fulfill the execution demands of vehicle programs. The individual personally collaborates in technical analysis at bench and vehicle level
- Manage all activities to support GME’s Electrical Project Engineer Staff as well as component suppliers in regards to Cyber Security (CS) topics, ensuring correct understanding of CS requirements and processes during vehicle program execution. Provide technical education to GME’s Electrical Project Engineer Staff
- Represent GM | Opel in relevant industry forums, such as VDA, AutoSAR, ISO; identify opportunities to leverage or drive creation of industry solutions
Your profile:
- Technical degree, preferred in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering or Computer Science. Expert in Cyber Security Theory and Methods including knowledge of state-of-the-art developments in the OEM industry
- Expert level in process knowledge on electrical architecture, feature and component development
- Experienced in collaboration with cross-functional experts
- Experienced in Automotive Vehicle Development Principles and Release Processes
- Experienced in automotive software engineering
- Customer- and result-oriented, pro-active working style
- Highly analytical skilled
- Able to reach consensus in decision
- Good expression skills (written and verbal)
- Excellent presentation skills
