About the role

Support the finance function in the financial reporting, internal control, and compliance; the role will offer great exposure to financial items and opportunities for developing as well as progressing in a great career.

 

Package up to circa 30k: (£Competitive Salary + Pension + Share Scheme + Professional qualifications)

 

Responsibilities and accountabilities

Consider: financial planning and analysis, control and compliance, systems and processes

 

Finance Planning and Analysis

  • Support on annual / quarterly period-end
  • Support Finance Manager on business integrations
  • Support on ad-hoc finance items

 

Control and Compliance

  • Assist on Internal audits / control
  • Manage the validation of suppliers and vendors setup in SAP
  • Support Finance Manager

 

Admin and Other

  • Supporting H/O close process
  • Raising POs
  • Process expenses

Desired profile

Qualifications and training

  • Business, Economics or Finance related subjects at A-Level or equivalent qualification (desirable)
  • Working towards a Professional Accounting qualification (desirable)

 

Technical skills and experience

  • Experience of using ERP system for Accounting
  • Have intermediate MS Excel skills, PowerPoint, and Word 
  • Be an excellent communicator with a strong attention to detail
  • Friendly and approachable manner, able to build and sustain relationships
  • Accuracy to deal with large amounts of data in terms of manipulation and analysis
  • Be a pro-active person with a high ability to adapt to ad-hoc tasks
  • Be enthusiastic and a team player
  • Be happy to travel to meet with the wider operational and finance teams
  • Looking for a high paced environment with great opportunities for development and career progression
