Job description

Actemium, an international Electrical Services organisation with a global turnover of €2.8 billion and based in over 40 countries. Actemium Instrumentation, Control and Switchgear are looking for an Electrical Labourer to join our team in Staverton, Gloucester.

Summary

Working closely with Panel Wire Person’s you will be required to support with all aspects of assembling mechanical steel work, electrical cabling support, cable numbering, crimping, fitting components, housekeeping and workshop duties whilst ideally expressing an interest to learn Electrical Engineering.

Key objectives 

• To maintain safe working practices and always adhere to quality control procedures.
• Travel to customer sites to support installation as and when required.
• Maintain effective and regular communication between department members.

Qualifications and Experience 

• Reliable
• Positive can-do attitude
• Good communication skills
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills
• Basic electrical knowledge and understanding would also be beneficial (not essential)
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Health and Safety conscious

Key Competencies  

• The ability to effectively communicate using both verbal and written communication that delivers high levels of confidence in those dealt with.
• Familiarity with hand and basic power tools is required
• Proactive in approach, resilient under pressure, ability to maintain clarity and vision, and possesses a strong results orientation.
• Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team environment
