Title: Commis Chef

As our next Commis Chef, you…

Are curious about food, always willing to try new combinations and flavours.

Assist in the preparation of the dishes in a timely fashion and agreed standards.

Observe excellent food hygiene practice through the entire food chain from storage through to preparation and service.

Perform other kitchen duties as assigned.

Our hotel offers 172 rooms, 11 conference rooms, Restaurant, Bar and Room service.  Full Leisure facilities including, Gym, Swimming Pool, Jacuzzi, sauna and steam room.  

Understanding things from our guest’s perspective is key, so while you are settling into your new role we will arrange a one-night stay for you to experience this first hand.

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

·  You are trade qualified and have relevant experience in a similar role in a hotel environment.
·  Demonstrate a genuine passion for food and displaying very high standards of production and presentation.
·  You have a working understanding of and the ability to maintain food safety standards and HACCP.
·  Have excellent communication
·  You are impeccably groomed and presented.
·  You have the capacity to multi task, cope well under pressure and are able to meet tight deadlines.
