Title: Commis Chef

As our next Commis Chef, you…

Are curious about food, always willing to try new combinations and flavours.

Assist in the preparation of the dishes in a timely fashion and agreed standards.

Observe excellent food hygiene practice through the entire food chain from storage through to preparation and service.

Perform other kitchen duties as assigned.

Our hotel offers 172 rooms, 11 conference rooms, Restaurant, Bar and Room service.  Full Leisure facilities including, Gym, Swimming Pool, Jacuzzi, sauna and steam room.

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

·  Demonstrate a genuine passion for food and displaying very high standards of production and presentation.
·  You have a working understanding of and the ability to maintain food safety standards and HACCP.
·  You have the capacity to multi-task, cope well under pressure and are able to meet tight deadlines.
·  Possess a valid Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2 or higher).
·  Demonstrate proficiency in knife skills and basic cooking techniques.
·  Have knowledge of various cuisines and culinary trends.
·  Show a willingness to learn and adapt to new recipes and cooking methods.
·  Exhibit strong teamwork skills and the ability to work effectively in a diverse kitchen environment.
·  Display a keen eye for detail in food preparation and plating.
·  Demonstrate flexibility in working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
·  Show a commitment to continuous professional development in the culinary field.
