Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Service & Experience:

·  Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables.
·  Present menus, provide recommendations, and answer questions about food and beverages.
·  Take accurate food and drink orders and relay them to the kitchen or bar.
·  Serve food and beverages promptly while following high-standard service protocols.
·  Monitor guests’ dining experience and respond promptly to their needs.
·  Handle guest complaints professionally and escalate issues when necessary.

Table Setup & Cleanliness:

·  Ensure tables are properly set with cutlery, glassware, and napkins before guests arrive.
·  Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the dining area, following health and safety regulations.
·  Clear tables efficiently and prepare them for the next guests.

Order Management & Coordination:

·  Work closely with kitchen staff and bartenders to ensure accurate and timely order delivery.
·  Communicate any special requests or dietary restrictions to the kitchen.
·  Process payments using POS systems and issue accurate bills.

Knowledge & Upselling:

·  Have in-depth knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and allergens.
·  Suggest wine pairings and upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience.
·  Stay updated on daily specials, promotions, and seasonal menu changes.

Teamwork & Professionalism:

·  Coordinate with other team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
·  Assist in opening and closing duties, such as restocking and inventory checks.
·  Follow hotel service standards, dress code, and grooming guidelines.
