Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Uniform Linen Attendant to join our hospitality team in the beautiful island of Phu Quoc, Vietnam. As a Linen Attendant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation for our guests' linens and textiles.

·  Operate and maintain laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, and folding machines
·  Sort, wash, dry, and fold various types of linens, including bedsheets, towels, and tablecloths
·  Inspect linens for stains, tears, or other damage, and take appropriate action
·  Maintain accurate inventory of linens and supplies
·  Perform basic mending and sewing tasks as needed
·  Ensure proper storage and organisation of clean linens
·  Collaborate with housekeeping staff to meet linen demands efficiently
·  Adhere to health and safety regulations and hygiene standards
·  Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance issues to the supervisor
·  Assist in training new team members on linen care procedures

Qualifications

·  Secondary school education or equivalent
·  Previous experience in housekeeping or laundry services is preferred
·  Proficiency in operating laundry equipment and understanding of fabric care techniques
·  Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness
·  Excellent organisational and time management skills
·  Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy loads
·  Basic mending and sewing skills
·  Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and practices
·  Ability to work effectively in a team environment
·  Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
·  Hospitality certifications are advantageous but not required
·  Basic English language skills are beneficial
