Job Description

Job Purpose

The Tailor's main activity is to issue and maintain all team members’ uniforms, ensuring they are in a very good shape and always representing the Company image. The Tailor is maintaining an accurate monthly uniform inventory and performing uniform and guest item alterations when needed or requested.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Repairing and Altering Garments: This includes fixing tears, rips, and other damage to clothing, as well as making alterations to ensure a proper fit. 

2. Maintaining Uniforms: Ensuring team members' uniforms are clean, well-maintained, and represent the company's image. 

3. I nventory Management:   Keeping track of uniform and laundry supplies, potentially including ordering and stocking. 

4. Laundry Operations: Washing, drying, folding, and sometimes ironing laundry items, potentially including guest laundry and hotel linens. 

5. Following Safety and Hygiene Procedures; Adhering to health and safety guidelines, especially when using cleaning chemicals and equipment. 

Qualifications

Knowledge And Experience

·  High School Diploma or a related field
·  Proven experience working as tailor
·  The ability to use sewing machine
·  Outstanding sewing skill
·  Good hand-eye coordination and detail oriented
·  Good reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language
·  Ability to speak other languages and basic understanding of local languages will be an advantage
·  Good working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, & PowerPoint
