Job Description
The Storekeeper reports to the Director of Purchasing and is responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing all goods and supplies necessary for the hotel's operation. This includes food and beverage, supplies, equipment, and uniforms. The Storekeeper must ensure that all goods and supplies are received in good condition and that they are properly stored and distributed to the appropriate departments.
What you will be doing:
>Receive all goods and supplies delivered to the hotel
>Inspect all goods and supplies for damage or defects
>Log and track all incoming shipments
>Store all goods and supplies in a safe and organized manner
>Distribute goods and supplies to the appropriate departments
>Maintain inventory levels and ensure that the hotel has adequate supplies
>Keep accurate records of all goods and supplies received, stored, and distributed
Qualifications
>1+ years of experience in receiving and warehousing or a related field
>Strong understanding of receiving and warehousing procedures
>Strong knowledge of food categories, weights, proportions, and stroage requirements
>Experience with using inventory management software systems
>Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
>Ability to work independently and as part of a team
