The resort will host guests in 250 residential units, including 176 rooms and 74 villas, as well as a fine-dining restaurant, two specialty beach restaurants and a lounge bar. Among its many highlights will be an exclusive private beach. Other amenities are to include a central ballroom for events, meeting rooms, a fitness center, a spa, kids and teens clubs, and several swimming pools. All of this will be set amid green landscaping, golden beaches and a port.
Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Storekeeper to join our team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. As a Storekeeper, you will play a crucial role in managing our warehouse operations, ensuring accurate inventory control, and maintaining a well-organized storage facility.
· Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage
· Store and organize products in designated areas following proper storage procedures
· Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management software
· Fulfill orders by picking, packing, and preparing items for shipment
· Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies
· Ensure proper rotation of perishable goods (FIFO - First In, First Out)
· Collaborate with other departments to coordinate deliveries and manage stock levels
· Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment
· Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely
· Assist in implementing and improving inventory management processes
· Prepare reports on stock levels, damaged goods, and other relevant metrics
Qualifications
· High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in logistics or related field preferred
· Previous warehouse or inventory management experience
· Proficiency in warehouse management software and inventory tracking systems
· Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail
· Excellent organizational and time management abilities
· Self-motivated with the capability to work independently and as part of a team
· Knowledge of food and beverage products (meats, produce, dry goods, beverages) is a plus
· Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly
· Capability to push and maneuver heavy carts or equipment
· Forklift certification or willingness to obtain one
· Strong communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
