Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Stewarding Team Leader to join our team at our prestigious hotel in Phu Quoc, Vietnam. As the Stewarding Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout our food and beverage operations.
· Lead and supervise the stewarding team, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality service
· Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures for all kitchen areas and equipment
· Oversee the proper handling, cleaning, and storage of dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
· Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as needed
· Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
· Train new team members and provide ongoing guidance to improve performance
· Collaborate with other departments to maintain a clean and organised working environment
· Address and resolve any issues or concerns raised by staff or management promptly
· Implement and maintain proper waste management and recycling procedures
· Ensure all team members adhere to company policies and procedures
Qualifications
· Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry
· Proven track record of leading and managing a team effectively
· Excellent leadership and team management skills
· Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
· Proficient problem-solving and decision-making skills
· Exceptional time management and organisational capabilities
· In-depth knowledge of cleaning and sanitation standards in the hospitality industry
· Familiarity with inventory management systems and processes
· Thorough understanding of health and safety regulations in food service environments
· High school diploma or equivalent (Required)
· Hospitality management certification (Preferred)
· Fluency in English; knowledge of Vietnamese or other languages is an advantage
· Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
· Physical stamina to handle the demands of a fast-paced kitchen environment
