Join our team at the luxurious Mercure Kooddoo resort in the Maldives as a Spa Therapist. We're looking for a skilled and compassionate professional to provide exceptional spa experiences to our guests in this tropical paradise.

·  Perform a variety of body treatments, including massages, facials, and wraps, ranging from 30 to 120 minutes
·  Customize treatments to meet individual guest needs and preferences
·  Maintain a clean, hygienic, and organized work environment
·  Prepare treatment rooms, including setting up equipment and supplies
·  Educate guests on spa services, products, and wellness practices
·  Perform loofah treatments and herbal wraps as required
·  Assist in coordinating spa services with other resort programs
·  Stay current with industry trends and best practices in body treatments
·  Promote spa services to resort guests and members
·  Collaborate with the spa team to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction
·  Report any equipment issues or maintenance needs to the Operations Manager
·  Participate in ongoing training and skill development programs

Qualifications

·  Professional certification in spa therapy or a related field
·  Current professional license in massage therapy or related spa services
·  Proven experience as a Spa Therapist in a luxury resort or high-end spa setting
·  Extensive knowledge of various massage techniques and body treatments
·  Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and the benefits of different spa therapies
·  Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and empathetic demeanor
·  Detail-oriented approach to work, with a focus on cleanliness and organization
·  Ability to customize treatments based on individual guest needs
·  Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
·  Strong communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus
·  Physical stamina and dexterity to perform multiple treatments throughout the day
·  Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and privacy
·  Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays
·  Willingness to work in a remote island resort setting in the Maldives
·  Knowledge of spa operations, including scheduling, product knowledge, and retail sales
·  Ability to promote and upsell spa services and products
