Our hotel offerings include a 170 seat restaurant, 60 seat lounge bar and a 60 seat meeting room. Our menu offerings include buffet, a la carte, set menus and in room dining options.

·   Work with the executive chef and kitchen team to prepare, cook, and serve high-quality dishes that exceed guest expectations.
·  Supervise kitchen operations, ensuring consistent quality and presentation of food.
·   Uphold the highest hygiene standards in line with Health & Safety regulations.
·   Manage food costs effectively through proper preparation, service, and storage techniques.
·   Lead and train staff, ensuring they are motivated and working efficiently.
·   Assist in menu planning, food preparation, and ordering.
·   Oversee stock rotation and ensure minimal food wastage.
·   Provide training for chefs and apprentices to assist in the development of all team members.
·  Assist the executive chef in creating staff rosters and manage other administrative duties as needed.
·  Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly maintained, serviced, and cleaned regularly.
·  Salary $70,000 - $80,000

Qualifications

·   Minimum 2 years previous experience in similar role will be advantageous
·   A strong work ethic and passion for quality cuisine
·   Ability to work under pressure, in a fast paced environment
·   Ability to work cohesively and collectively as part of a diverse kitchen team
·   Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
