Job Description
The Security Supervisor reports to the Director of Security and is responsible for overseeing the security operations at Fairmont Southampton. They supervise a team of security officers and ensure that the hotel's security policies and procedures are being followed. The Security Supervisor also works closely with other hotel departments to ensure that the hotel is a safe and secure environment for guests and employees.
What you will be doing:
>Oversee the work of a team of security officers
>Ensure that the hotel's security policies and procedures are being followed
>Develop and implement new security programs and initiatives
>Conduct security assessments and identify areas for improvement
>Respond to security incidents and emergencies
>Work with other hotel departments to ensure the safety and security of the hotel
Qualifications
Your experience and skills include:
>3+ years of experience in security management, preferably in the luxury hospitality industry
>Strong understanding of security principles and practices
>Experience with developing and implementing security programs
>Experience with managing and supervising security personnel
>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
>Ability to think strategically and manage budgets
>Ability to work independently and as part of a team
