Job Description

As a waiter, you are expected to deliver prompt, efficient, consistent, professional, and engaging service to all guests. Your role is essential in creating a welcoming and memorable dining experience. Key expectations include but are not limited to:

·  Provide prompt, efficient, and professional service to all hotel and restaurant guests
·  Maintain thorough knowledge of menu items, including prices, preparation processes, and allergen information
·  Complete all mise en place tasks before service, including table setup and side station preparation
·  Take and process food and beverage orders accurately using the point of sale system
·  Clear tables promptly and maintain cleanliness of the restaurant area
·  Handle guest billing and payment processes efficiently
·  Adhere to Health, Hygiene, and Safety standards
·  Perform room service duties as required
·  Assist with special functions setup and breakdown

Qualifications

·  Secondary School education: minimum of 3 CXC passes
·  Good oral communication skills
·  Ability to speak a foreign language (particularly French, German, or Italian) is an asset
·  Previous hospitality experience is beneficial but not required
·  Ability to work weekends and bank holidays
