Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and efficient Seamstress Laundry Attendant to join our team in the beautiful island of Phu Quoc, Vietnam. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality sewing and laundry services to ensure guest satisfaction in our hospitality establishment.

·  Perform alterations, repairs, and mending of various textile items including guests' clothing and hotel linens
·  Operate and maintain laundry equipment such as washing machines, dryers, and irons
·  Sort, wash, dry, and fold linens, towels, and guests' clothing according to proper care instructions
·  Manage the flow of laundry to ensure timely delivery of clean items
·  Maintain a clean and organised work area
·  Assist in inventory management of laundry supplies and sewing materials
·  Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure smooth operations
·  Adhere to health and safety regulations in the workplace

Qualifications

·  Proven experience as a seamstress or in a laundry facility, preferably in a hospitality setting
·  Proficiency in various sewing and mending techniques
·  Knowledge of fabric care and ability to handle different types of textiles
·  Skill in operating laundry equipment and performing basic maintenance
·  Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure
·  Excellent time management and organisational skills
·  Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and work in a warm environment
·  Ability to communicate effectively in English; knowledge of Vietnamese is advantageous
·  Understanding of textile care and maintenance procedures
·  Familiarity with Vietnamese textile traditions is a plus
·  Vocational training in sewing or textile care is beneficial but not required
·  Ability to adapt to working in a tropical climate
