Job Description
Sales Manager - Business Travel & Tour (Full Time)
Through your passion and motivation, you sell memorable experience to guests who stay at Fairmont Hotel Macdonald. You are professional and knowledgeable about your property, and you build strong relationships and create bond with your guests.
What you will be doing:
· Manage the hotels Business Travel & Tour accounts including responding to RFP’s & prospecting new business opportunities.
· Prepare weekly, monthly, and annual reports as required. As directed, assist with the compilation of competitive intelligence information. Conduct on-going research within Business Travel & Tour market segments.
· Participate in tradeshows, conventions and promotional events within the hotel and trade related organizations
· Maintain an active presence in the hotel, welcoming and entertaining repeat travelers, organizing site and FAM tours and participate in client entertainment.
· Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service, while ensuring prompt and courteous response is provided to both internal and external contacts
· Create, maintain and manage positive and strong relationships within the Business Travel & Tour market segments
· Other duties as assigned
Physical Aspects of Position (included but not limited to):
· Frequent sitting throughout shift
· Occasional lifting and carrying up to 20 lbs
· Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting
· Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
Qualifications
Your experience and skills include:

Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining work authorization documents

Salary Range: $49,100.00 - $73,700.00 CAD Gross Annually
