The city palace presents itself at the highest level with 150 spacious rooms/suites, French bistronomique cuisine in the Schönemann restaurant and exclusive drink creations in Lili's Bar. The SoSPA & SoFIT wellness area offers guests an atmosphere of well-being. For events, the Mezzanine has a 330sqm ballroom, a boardroom and three meeting rooms with high-end technical equipment.

 

Job Description

- Responsible for managing, generating and achieving budgeted ADR and room revenue for the Corporate segment (business travel), additionally working with the Meeting and Groups team to achieve budgets by leading MICE sales activities in key markets.

- Developing a customer network and maintaining contacts with/with local, national and international cooperation partners.

- Acquisition of new customers and customer care of corporate accounts, meeting and event planners, incl. preparation, implementation as well as follow-up of all customer appointments

- Planning, organising and carrying out site inspections, customer and publicity events in-house

- Negotiation and approval of corporate contracts and RFPs

- Participation and implementation of trade fairs, sales missions and road shows, national and international

- Market observation and implementation of measures to secure and gain market share

- Responsibility for maintaining the existing customer base and for customers at home and abroad

- Conducting contract negotiations in the corporate segment on the national and international market

- Acquisition of new customers from corporate accounts, groups, meeting and event planners

 

Qualifications

- A completed vocational training and at least 2 - 4 years of professional experience in the luxury hotel industry  
- Fluent German and English       
- Confident handling of the common EDP programs
- Very good knowledge of Excel
- Reliability and a strong sense of quality and responsibility
- Professional manners and well-groomed appearance
- Strong communication and motivation skills  
- Independent, clean and organised working style    
- Market knowledge and market observation
