ROYAL SERVICE AGENT

What you will be doing:

·  Provide courteous, prompt and empathetic service to all customers;
·  Handle all calls, external and internal, by redirecting them or assisting clients;
·  Responsible for customer inquiries and follow-up in accordance with hotel and Royal Service standards;
·  Communicate all relevant issues to the manager;
·  Have sufficient working knowledge of all departments, including housekeeping, reception and technical services;
·  Update the “royal service” software;
·  Act as a liaison for clients requesting information relating to all aspects of the hotel;
·  Make reservations in restaurants at the request of customers;
·  Take restaurant reservations in the absence of the hostess;
·  Take orders for room service and send them to the room immediately;
·  Eliminate non-essential intermediaries for all customer requests;
·  Follow up, within the prescribed deadlines, for all deliveries made to rooms and for all problems raised by a client;
·  Be fully familiar with all of the hotel's emergency procedures;
·  Comply with departmental policies, procedures and service standards;
·  Respect all security policies;
·  All other related tasks.

 

 Your experience and skills include:

·  Relevant customer service experience is required
·  Prior experience as a telephone operator, in reception or in the hotel industry an asset
·  Excellent knowledge of English, French and a third language is an asset
·  Excellent customer service skills and oral communication skills required
·  Ability to use Microsoft Windows (Outlook) and PMS applications
·  Interpersonal and problem-solving skills
·  Responsible and reliable
·  Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
·  Organization, team spirit, initiative, resourcefulness, flexibility and empathy
·  Ability to focus attention on customer needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
·  Have a great availability to work day, evening and weekend
·  Have a warm voice on the phone
·  All other related qualifications.
