Job Description
• Supervise the daily operations of the restaurant, including managing the front-of-house and back-of-house staff, ensuring that the restaurant operates smoothly and efficiently.
• Ensure that guests receive excellent service, addressing any complaints or concerns as needed, and resolving them to the satisfaction of the guest.
• Train, develop, and motivate the restaurant staff, setting performance goals, and providing regular feedback on their performance.
• Manage inventory, ordering, and storage of all restaurant supplies, including food, beverages, and equipment.
• Monitor food quality and presentation, ensuring that all dishes are prepared according to company standards.
• Coordinate with the Restaurant Manager and other department heads to ensure that all aspects of the restaurant operation are aligned with the overall goals of the resort.
• Maintain proper staffing levels, scheduling staff as needed to ensure adequate coverage.
• Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed in the restaurant, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field
• At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory role in a restaurant or other food and beverage establishment.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both guests and staff.
• Knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Good understanding of customer service principles and practices.
• Proficiency in English
