Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team at SO/Uptown Dubai. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and leading a diverse team in a vibrant, multicultural environment.
· Manage daily restaurant operations, including staff scheduling, inventory control, and quality assurance
· Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and increase revenue
· Lead, motivate, and train a diverse team of restaurant staff to maintain high service standards
· Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, safe dining environment
· Analyze financial reports, manage budgets, and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality
· Collaborate with the culinary team to develop innovative menu items and promotional offerings
· Handle guest complaints and feedback professionally, striving for prompt resolution
· Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless hotel operations
· Stay updated on industry trends and implement best practices to improve restaurant performance
· Organize and oversee special events, promotions, and themed dining experiences
Qualifications
· Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar leadership role within the food and beverage industry
· Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
· Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
· Demonstrated ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
· Proficiency in restaurant management software and point-of-sale systems
· Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering memorable dining experiences
· Food safety certification and thorough knowledge of food and beverage regulations
· Excellent inventory management and cost control skills
· Experience in staff training and development
· Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
· Adaptability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment
· Innovative approach to menu development and promotional strategies
· Proficiency in financial management and budget analysis
