Job Description

As a Reservations Agent, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service and creating memorable experiences for our guests. You will be responsible for handling reservations and inquiries efficiently, ensuring a seamless booking process. Key responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

·  Managing guest bookings, changes, and cancellations with accuracy and professionalism.
·  Responding promptly and courteously to guest inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels.
·  Providing detailed information on room types, rates, packages, and amenities to assist guests in selecting their ideal stay.
·  Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of hotel services, promotions, and local attractions to enhance the guest experience.
·  Ensuring special requests and preferences are noted and communicated effectively to relevant departments.
·  Collaborating with the front office and other relevant departments to maximise occupancy and revenue.
·  Delivering exceptional guest service and resolving booking-related issues promptly and effectively and
·  You will demonstrate a guest-centric approach with a high standard of accuracy and attention to detail.

 

Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess the following:

·  Prior experience in a reservations or customer service role within the hospitality industry.
·  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
·  Ability to work a variety of different shift times.
·  Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail.
·  Proficiency in hotel property management systems (PMS) and familiarity with reservations software is an advantage.
·  A positive and professional manner, with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
·  Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
