Job Description

The Recreation Receptionist at Raffles & Fairmont Doha serves as the first point of contact for guests using the hotel’s recreational facilities. This role is responsible for providing excellent customer service, managing bookings and schedules, and ensuring guests have a seamless and enjoyable leisure experience in line with the luxury standards of the Raffles & Fairmont brands.

Key Responsibilities:

·  Greet and welcome guests in a warm, professional, and courteous manner.
·  Manage reservations, bookings, and scheduling for recreational facilities such as the gym, swimming pool, spa, tennis courts, and other leisure activities.
·  Provide guests with detailed information about available recreational services, programs, and events.
·  Assist guests with equipment rental and usage instructions.
·  Maintain accurate records of guest usage and facility bookings.
·  Handle guest inquiries, requests, and feedback promptly and efficiently.
·  Coordinate with other hotel departments to ensure smooth delivery of recreational services.
·  Monitor the condition and cleanliness of recreational areas and report any maintenance or safety issues to the relevant departments.
·  Assist in promoting recreational programs and special events to guests.
·  Uphold all health, safety, and hygiene standards within the recreation department.

Qualifications

·  Previous experience in a front desk, guest services, or recreational facility role is preferred.
·  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is an advantage.
·  Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
·  Friendly, approachable, and guest-focused attitude.
·  Ability to multitask and handle busy periods with professionalism and efficiency.
·  Basic computer skills for managing bookings and guest records.
·  Flexible to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
·  Knowledge of recreational activities and facilities is a plus.
