BODA Restaurant reflects a deep connection to Aotearoa produce blended with vibrant Asian cuisine flavors, making it a restaurant suitable for its surroundings.
BODA, which is located on the top floor of Mövenpick Hotel Auckland, is looking a Junior Sous Chef – Banquets, to be a part of the team and contribute in the delivery of modern Asian culinary styles with a New Zealand twist.
Job Description
· Greet, check-in, respond to requests and settle accounts while providing exceptional service
· Take initiative to add a personalized experience
· Proudly promote the hotel facilities, looking for opportunities to enhance a guest’s stay through up-selling
· Take care of the guests from the moment they arrive through to their departure by ensuring they have a memorable experience with us
· Treat every customers information with the highest level of confidentiality
· Available to work across a 7 day roster including shift work
Qualifications
· Service focused personality is essential
· 1-2 years previous experience in a customer facing role
· Prior experience working with Opera or a related system is preferred but not required
· Hospitality and Tourism Degree preferred but not required
· Exceptional personal presentation, articulate verbal communication and excellent telephone manner
