Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and analytical Purchasing Manager to join our team in Novotel Cairo Airport, Egypt. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all procurement activities, ensuring cost-effective and timely acquisition of goods and services for our organization.

·  Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals and budget constraints
·  Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and secure favorable terms to optimize cost savings
·  Analyze market trends, pricing data, and supplier performance to make informed purchasing decisions
·  Oversee the entire procurement process, from requisition to delivery, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
·  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and fulfill departmental needs efficiently
·  Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and inventory levels
·  Implement and manage inventory control systems to optimize stock levels and minimize waste
·  Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy of inventory and identify discrepancies
·  Generate comprehensive reports on procurement activities, expenditures, and supplier performance
·  Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in procurement and supply chain management
·  Mentor and develop junior team members to build a high-performing procurement department

Qualifications

·  Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Inventory Management, or a related field (preferred)
·  Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in procurement, logistics, or supply chain management
·  Strong knowledge of procurement processes, shipping, logistics, and customs clearance
·  Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills
·  Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook
·  Experience with procurement software and inventory management systems
·  Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
·  Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
·  Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
·  Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance standards
·  Understanding of food & beverage products and familiarity with perishable goods management (preferred)
·  Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple priorities
·  Strong problem-solving skills and proactive approach to challenges
